I’m a visual designer and motion director with a long history of working at the intersection of design, technology, and storytelling. Over the years I’ve built visual systems for defense simulation platforms, designed UI and workflows for SaaS products, developed characters and motion for interactive games, and created high-impact presentation narratives for stakeholders in government and industry.
A major part of my work involves taking something highly technical — a simulation, a dataset, a workflow, a prototype — and shaping it into a visual language that people can understand and use. Sometimes that means designing a clear interface. Sometimes it means developing motion cues that explain behavior. Sometimes it means building a full visual identity around a product or system.
I’ve led creative teams, built design pipelines, worked directly with engineers and SMEs, and delivered assets across digital, motion, print, and large-format environments, including conference displays. I approach every project with a focus on clarity, consistency, and narrative purpose.
What motivates me most is solving problems visually and helping people make sense of complex systems.
Outside of work I spend far too much time experimenting with new tools, exploring generative workflows, and watching the Minnesota Vikings try to break my heart in the fall.
